Mother’s Day 2011…

Ok, it looks like we have about 14 months to make all the arrangements for this wedding.  That SHOULD be enough time, but knowing my penchant for procrastination and Deb’s penchant for not being able to make a decision, we better get to work.

In the mean time, it would appear it’s still winter in the California Sierras, cuz that’s where we are and last night it snowed somewhere betweeen four and six inches.  And, well, yes, it snowed pretty much most of the day here in Mammoth.  Oh, Yeah.  We’re in Mammoth again.  Of course.  All in all, a nice day.

Over Easter weekend (two weeks ago, April 23) we talked to the Mammoth Mountain Wedding Planner.   She told us all about this nice wedding venue, but right now it’s buried in snow.  See the pics below, we went by Lake Mary where the chapel in the woods is.    The bridge is there, but the chapel is buried under 5-6 feet of snow.   Guess we better not get married in May.   And wow, does Rusty Gregory (the Mountain General Manager) get a lot for his services.  Oh, well, we’ll figure it out…
